In this class, I am going to be working with Gansai Tambi Graphite Pans and some Graphite Watercolors I created in the Make Your Own Graphite Watercolor class. these work like watercolors – and they offer deep, tranquil colors with a rich matte texture and a graphite finish. You can softly burnish the colors to bring up the metallic sheen. They are so cool and sophisticated looking. I truly got excited to use them and the results I got.

We will create some beautiful abstracts with the Graphite Pans and some Water Soluble Art Graf pencils. We'll start by creating some elegant Leaf paintings, then some abstract florals, some stripes, and abstracts. and then we'll do some a bit bigger. You are welcome to substitute other watercolors you have on hand to try out the projects – but you won't have the same effects the graphite colors are giving us due to the really cool repelling effect we get when using water-soluble pencils on the graphite watercolors.
This class is for you if:
You love learning new techniques for your artYou are interested in checking out some new art products to create your abstracts withYou love watching how others approach their art practiceYou love experimenting with your art supplies
These are the supplies I'll be using in class. definitely get creative and experiment if you have some other supplies or ideas that come to you as you go through the class.
